Jakarta lies on the north coast of Jawa. More than 13 million people from
all over the archipelago call it home, seeking fame and fortune in the country’s
capital. It is the center of government, business and commerce; a city that is
constantly changing with the construction of skyscrapers, flyovers, hotels and
shopping malls.
